Appearance

Kei is 5'8", sky blue eyes, waist length deep violet almost black hair, curvy but athletic figure from years of theater, competitive gymnastics, dance and martial arts, which now she only does dance casually and that's just to keep her in shape.


When she's working/studying, she prefers dresses and skirt suits along with high heels - 3-5" at most. She wears minimum jewelry as well - simple earrings, couple of bracelets on each arm and a simple necklace set - one piece that she still keeps on her is her wedding ring, despite the loss of her husband. However, whenever she's out on the town, she'll be as casual as anyone else, with jeans, pants, skirts, etc., although she still keeps a neat appearance about her and sometimes will be mistaken for a model because of her height.


She'll usually have some article of clothing or jewelry about her that has a butterfly emblem on it somewhere just about almost all the time.

Personality


She'll greet you with a smile and a kind word. She thinks quick on her feet, even more so when there's trouble nearby. She enjoys company - depending on her mood, though - but she's not really comfortable being in large, loud crowds for long periods of time.


Whenever she's feeling a bit anxious, she can find comfort in either playing her guitar, reading, cooking or going for a walk somewhere or practicing her forte (her dance or her martial arts) somewhere to keep her focus and not get caught up in her surroundings.


Despite all of the modern appliances she has in her household - from an expresso/coffee maker to a state of the art stereo system which is wired throughout the house, even in the bathrooms - the one appliance you would never find there will be a television or anything related to tv, including vcr's or dvd's. It was the one thing they were always forbidden from seeing - she never understood why, but she never questioned that rule either, and to this day obeys it (so that also means seeing movies are out for her).


She can be surprising with both her words and her actions at times; she's not really one to be able to be read very easily considering she usually keeps her feelings pretty well masked and most times may counter one action with the opposite effect to throw others off their game (i.e. if someone tries to joke around, she'll act bored; if they try to act like a know-it-all, she'll say something clever to shut them up, etc. etc.).


She's good at general housework abilities - remember, she did have 5 younger siblings to help take care of - but she's not good with complicated dishes or desserts. She usually has to buy those or if someone else requests them, she asks that they do it themselves or find someone else that can do it if they value their lives and their household being intact..and she's not kidding at all.

History

Kei had a fairly normal life growing up, though being the eldest of 5 girls in their family, their lives were happy and content.


One day though, that happiness was shattered when Kei was in her second year of high school and she met him...Brice Tumac. She fell in love hard and fast with the other, but it seemed her family had other plans for her to be married off to one of her father's business associate's sons to bring about a merger between their companies. He laughed at the thought of her being with such a poor boy like Brice and forbid her from seeing him, even so much as going so far as to have her home schooled since the school thought her father's notion of having him kicked out for such a ludicrous reason was unreasonable and they would not help be bullies to a student who hadn't done anything wrong in their eyes.


Fed up with her father's ridiculous rules and rigid monitoring, Kei managed to slip away one night and meet up with Brice. They traveled several towns away from their hometown and later eloped. Finally, finally...they could be happy.


Unfortunately, this was not so.


Coming home from work one day, Kei found their apartment in shambles. They had been discovered! But how?! She found a note lying on the center of the bed from her father telling her that if she did not stop her 'childish shenanigans', Brice would be the one to pay the price.


She had no choice but to comply with her father's request as she returned to the home and brought before her father. As they began to "talk", suddenly intruders invaded the home - they were from a rival company her father had taken over quite abruptly, but it seemed they weren't about to take the takeover lying down. Amid the chaos, Kei hurried to where Brice was being held. Just as she finally freed him, he suddenly grabbed her and pushed her out the nearby window, and as she cried out to him falling towards the ground she looked to see his body rattled by gunshots before collapsing to the ground.


She disappeared into the night before the police arrived to clean up the massacre of bodies. Returning to the shambles of their apartment, she quickly packed what she could - discovering another letter for her along the way as she quickly stuffed it into her bookbag purse, leaving a fair deposit to the apartment manager along with a note of apology as she headed for the train station. While riding quietly, she unfolded the letter, reading over it as she found herself full of tears once again, but tears of happiness this time, not sadness. It seemed there were some secrets that her father didn't know about the family Brice truly came from - which turned out to be one of his business rivals that seemed to be even more influential than Kei's father was. The letter itself was a contract of sorts that plainly said that if Brice married, he would received his due inheritance; however, should anything happen to him, his inheritance would go to his spouse. His family still recognizes her as a part of their family, despite the loss of their son, and they don't blame her for that at all, and still welcome her warmly to their household. She was offered a position to be his father's financial adviser, but she told him that time wasn't just yet considering she had yet to finish her education, but once that was complete, she would gladly accept his offer.


To this day, She never has forgiven her father for taking away the most important people in her life.

About a year after Brice's death, her father-in-law came to her letting her know of a proposition. He admired her for keeping his son's memory in her heart; however, the business needed some assistance and he was about to undertake a new venture, but the only way he could do that would be for her to agree to marry the President's son, who would be taking over the business in about 5 years. He told her that she would have 5 months before the decision came down, but one way or another, the business would be moving forward.

However, with everything that has occurred on Evergrove since having moved to the small town, she ended up forgetting about the proposition working so much with her (and Brice's) company and still assisting with the main business as well, and just the other day, she received an email with only an image attachment:
